SLK CEMENT WILL FINANCIALLY SUPPORT FEMALE EMPLOYEES WHO ARE IN SELF-ISOLATION WITH DEPENDENT CHILDREN
During the period of the spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), SLK Cement operational headquarters for pandemic issues decided to provide monetary support to company female employees who have dependent children under 18 years old.
The measure of financial support applies to female employees of all enterprises which are part of SLK Cement, regardless of their work mode – remote or requiring a technological shift. Similar assistance will be provided to male employees who are raising children without a mother. The lump sum non-recurrent sum will be paid by the end of April and will amount to 5,000 rubles per each child.
“The decision to provide financial support to our employees with children is due to the understanding of the difficult situation in families related to the need to comply with the conditions of self-isolation”, explained Sergey Kalinin, HR Director of SLK Cement. “In addition to performing current work tasks, our employees have an additional burden linked with providing family life, supporting online school education and organizing children's leisure”.
SLK Cement plants in Sukhoy Log and Korkino continue to provide high-quality cement to construction sites in the country in high-alert conditions due to the coronavirus pandemic. At the same time, the company has already allocated more than 8.4 million rubles for the implementation of preventive measures. The company purchased high-precision thermometers placed at the checkpoint, bactericidal lamps, as well as personal protective equipment for employees in sufficient quantities. Additional sanitary treatment of premises, workplaces and transport is carried out on the territory, as well as a mandatory requirement to maintain a social distance of 1.5 meters.
