SLK CEMENT PRODUCTION IS USED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF A HOSPITAL IN OMSK FOR PATIENTS WITH CORONAVIRUS INFECTION
Cement produced by SLK Cement formed the basis of concrete, which is used for rapid building of a multifunctional medical center in Omsk for infected residents of the region in the city.
Since the beginning of April, the company has shipped more than 400 tons of CEM I 42.5H cement for the construction of a strategically important facility. Deliveries were made by two branches of SLK Cement: "Sukholozhskcement" (Sukhoy Log) sent its products by rail, "Omsk" (Omsk) – by cement trucks. The operation of the SLK Cement production terminal in the Siberian Federal district was suspended due to the prevention of the virus spread. However, the company fully implemented its obligations to complete the order, ensuring safe working conditions at the site in accordance with the requirements of state authorities.
– In difficult times for the whole world, our company continues to work to provide cement for construction sites of regional and federal significance, - said Andrey Immoreev, General Director of SLK Cement. - We are aware of our responsibility to society and customers, so even in these circumstances, we constantly raise the quality of our products and services, as well as ensure prompt delivery in full and in time.
The 100-bed multifunctional medical center should be completed by the middle of May. Similar facilities are being built in 15 other cities of the country. The Military construction complex of the Ministry of defense of the Russian Federation is engaged in their construction.
