SLK CEMENT COMPANY PROVIDED FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO THE MUNICIPALITY IN RESOLVING THE ISSUE OF PROVIDING HOUSING FOR YOUNG TEACHERS

SLK Cement Company sponsored the project of dwelling space preparation for nonresident teachers. The renovation of the dormitory section of Sukhoy Log multidisciplinary technical school was done with the support from the company.


“Sukholozhskcement” plant (SLK Cement branch) sponsored the municipality in resolving the issue of providing housing for young teachers. The initiative to raise the prestige of teaching in a small town was created last year. In Sukhoy Log the committee of directors made a decision to renovate the dormitory section of Sukhoy Log multidisciplinary technical school. During the assessment of work, the cost of major repairs of the section for eight rooms with three toilets, one shower and the communal kitchen was 1.7 million rubles. The most part of required expense was taken by SLK Cement Company.
– Our enterprises maintain active social policy in the regions of presence, – Sergey Kalinin, the Head of Human Resources department accented, –We were glad to support the idea to create comfortable living conditions for nonresident young teachers in Sukhoy Log. Thanks to this project long-term contribution to the quality education of the younger generation was made.

The company supports social projects, helps to educational organizations and people in need, purchases building materials for municipal enterprises, furniture for kindergartens, school supplies to the Day of Knowledge and even presents with treat on various holidays. Particularly in 2018 “Sukholozhskcement” paid for the trips of young sportsmen to minifootball tournaments, plant workers installed water boilers in the dormitory of the Sverdlovsk medical college local branch, also lighting sets and bulbs were purchased for the comprehensive school  №9.
