SLK CEMENT STARTED TO PRODUCE A NEW BRAND OF CONSTRUCTION CEMENT
At the beginning of 2020 the SLK Cement product line included the CEM II/A- LL 42.5R brand. The innovation was another step in the field of improving cement with mineral additives.
Production of CEM II/A-LL 42.5R was established at the Sukholozhskcement plant (Sukhoy Log). The decision to start mass production was made after successful laboratory and industrial tests, as well as receiving positive ratings from customers who took part in the tests.
New cement helps to solve a number of tasks facing the producers of ready-mixed concrete and concrete products. The brand has high strength at an early age. It allows customers working in the precast concrete segment to speed up the process of deconstructing products and move on to the next production cycle. Also, this cement is characterized by high strength in the branded age when it was tested in the composition of ready-mixed concrete. Limestone as a mineral additive improves the workability of the concrete mix, reduces water separation and improves the surface quality of finished products.
