MORE THAN 8.4 MILLION RUBLES WERE DIRECTED BY SLK CEMENT TO A SET OF MEASURES TO PREVENT CORONAVIRUS INFECTION
The operational headquarters for pandemic issues continue to work at SLK Cement, which has been regularly monitoring the implementation of approved measures for the prevention of viral infection since March 2020. The events cover all production sites in the regions where the company operates, as well as its offices. The total cost of the company in this direction has already amounted to more than 8, 4 million rubles.
Since March, SLK Cement has canceled business and private trips abroad and around Russia, and replaced the necessary personal work meetings with remote, using telecommunication means. The company operates in standard operating conditions, while some of its staff has been moved to remote work – new laptops have been purchased to provide additional remote work places. In accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation, only continuous production operates at SLK Cement, the number of involved personnel is minimized.
– Working schedules and shifts changeover are carried out mainly contactless or in compliance with the requirement of a mandatory distance of 1.5 meters between employees, – explained Sergey KALININ, SLK Cement HR Director. – In addition, in places where people stay in groups, special markings have been done to the floor to comply with the recommended distance. It is forbidden to move around the territory of the enterprise unnecessarily. In the departments hand sanitizers have been installed, employees are provided with protective masks, and additional sanitary treatment has been introduced on the territory of enterprises.
Before the start of a shift at the plant checkpoints, all employees measure their body temperature in order to respond to deviations from the norm in a timely manner - for this purpose, the company has purchased high-precision thermometers. In April, the company also purchased 46 germicidal lamps and personal protective equipment for employees in sufficient quantities. Additional information on measures to prevent viral diseases has been provided to staff, and regular communication is being made about decisions taken to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
– Health and safety are the priorities of SLK Cement, so the implementation of COVID-19 prevention measures is one of the key tasks of enterprises. While we are working to implement the plan to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, we are also open for information support to our employees. The company has a hotline for employee complaints, - said Andrey IMMOREEV, the CEO of SLK Cement.
Along with the introduction of preventive measures and the implementation of the COVID-19 prevention package, SLK Cement has revised the calendar of corporate events. Regular initiatives within the month of safety and health have been shifted to autumn, congratulations to veterans and pensioners in connection with the anniversary of the Victory Day will be held in a new format – gifts and financial assistance will be sent by the representatives of enterprises without contact.
